Activities — Logging Calls, Emails & Meetings

Overview

Activities in KeenCRM track every interaction with your contacts and deals. They provide a complete history of customer engagement.

Types of Activities

  • Call: Phone calls with contacts — log duration, outcome, and notes
  • Email: Email correspondence — track subject, body, and follow-ups
  • Meeting: In-person or virtual meetings — record participants and outcomes
  • Note: Internal notes about a contact or deal
  • Custom: Create custom activity types for your workflow

Creating Activities

  1. Go to Activities in the sidebar under Operations
  2. Click "Add Activity"
  3. Select the activity type
  4. Link it to a contact, company, or deal
  5. Add date, time, duration, and detailed notes
  6. Save the activity

Activity Views

  • List view: See all activities in a sortable, filterable table
  • Calendar view: View activities on a calendar (available on Dashboard)
  • Entity view: See all activities linked to a specific contact or deal from their detail page

Filtering & Search

  • Filter by activity type (calls, emails, meetings)
  • Filter by date range
  • Filter by linked entity (contact or deal)
  • Search activity notes and subjects

Why Track Activities?

Activities give you a complete picture of your relationship with each customer. Before a meeting, you can review all past calls, emails, and notes to prepare effectively. Managers can monitor team activity levels and identify coaching opportunities.
