How To: Filter, Sort, and Customize Data Tables

Goal

Learn how to efficiently find, filter, and organize your CRM data using KeenCRM's data table features.

Search

  • Use the search bar at the top of any data table to search across all visible columns
  • Searches are instant — results update as you type
  • Search works on names, emails, phone numbers, titles, and other text fields

Sorting

  • Click any column header to sort by that column
  • Click again to reverse the sort order (ascending ↔ descending)
  • A sort indicator arrow shows the current sort direction

Filtering

Many tables support filters:

  • Status filter: Filter by record status (e.g., Active, Won, Pending)
  • Date range: Filter by date (created, updated, due date)
  • Owner/Assignee: Filter by the team member who owns the record
  • Custom filters: Some tables support filtering by custom field values

Column Customization

KeenCRM's Column Manager lets you:

  1. Click the column settings icon (⚙️) in the table header
  2. Show/hide columns: Toggle which columns are visible
  3. Reorder columns: Drag and drop columns to rearrange
  4. Preferences are saved: Your column layout persists across sessions

Export

Click the Export button to download the current table data (with applied filters) as CSV or XLSX.
