Goal
Create a professional quote for a customer, share it for approval, and convert it to an invoice once accepted.
Steps
Step 1: Create the Quote
- Go to Quotes in the sidebar
- Click "Add Quote"
- Fill in: title, contact, company, valid-until date
- Add line items from the product catalog:
- Select a product → quantity → the price auto-fills
- Adjust discounts if needed
- Add custom line items for special services
- Review the total and save
Step 2: Share with the Customer
- Open the quote
- Click "Share" or "Copy Link"
- A public link is generated — the customer can view the quote without logging in
- Send the link via email or your preferred channel
Step 3: Convert to Invoice
Once the customer approves:
- Open the quote
- Click "Create Invoice"
- All line items, pricing, and contact details automatically transfer
- Review the invoice and adjust payment terms if needed
- Save and send the invoice
