Task Management — Assignments & Follow-ups

Overview

KeenCRM's Task module helps you manage follow-ups, to-dos, and team assignments so nothing falls through the cracks.

Creating Tasks

  1. Go to Tasks in the sidebar under Operations
  2. Click "Add Task"
  3. Enter: title, description, due date, priority
  4. Assign to a team member
  5. Optionally link to a contact, deal, or company
  6. Save the task

Task Properties

  • Title: Brief description of what needs to be done
  • Description: Detailed instructions or context
  • Priority: Low, Medium, High, Urgent
  • Due date: When the task should be completed
  • Assignee: The team member responsible
  • Status: To Do, In Progress, Completed
  • Linked entity: Optionally connect to a contact, deal, or company

Managing Tasks

  • Mark complete: Check off tasks as you finish them
  • Filter: View tasks by status, priority, assignee, or due date
  • Sort: Order by due date, priority, or creation date
  • Edit: Update any task details

Task Notifications

Team members receive notifications when:

  • A task is assigned to them
  • A task due date is approaching
  • A task is marked as completed
