Task Management — Assignments & Follow-ups

Overview
KeenCRM's Task module helps you manage follow-ups, to-dos, and team assignments so nothing falls through the cracks.
Creating Tasks
- Go to Tasks in the sidebar under Operations
- Click "Add Task"
- Enter: title, description, due date, priority
- Assign to a team member
- Optionally link to a contact, deal, or company
- Save the task
Task Properties
- Title: Brief description of what needs to be done
- Description: Detailed instructions or context
- Priority: Low, Medium, High, Urgent
- Due date: When the task should be completed
- Assignee: The team member responsible
- Status: To Do, In Progress, Completed
- Linked entity: Optionally connect to a contact, deal, or company
Managing Tasks
- Mark complete: Check off tasks as you finish them
- Filter: View tasks by status, priority, assignee, or due date
- Sort: Order by due date, priority, or creation date
- Edit: Update any task details
Task Notifications
Team members receive notifications when:
- A task is assigned to them
- A task due date is approaching
- A task is marked as completed
